Challenge 1: Simple Boardgame

This is my ideas for the first boardgame challenge following these formal constraints:
1. Can be played in 15 minutes or less.
2. Play space is no larger than one 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.
3. Must be 2 player.

I am thinking to use a hexagonal tiled sheet of paper for a play space. A single dice roll from a 6 sided die will determine how far a player moves on their turn. Some colored hexagons will have something happen when you land on them, 1 good 2 bad.

  1. Add more crazy stuff! Like...they land on this square on a Monday, they have to squawk like a chicken!

  2. I pretty much agree with Kate here. The game you've got going now is very basic. You have a lot of room to add features and tiles. I realize that your options were a bit limited because you wanted to color code things and that it was black and white, but you should still try to put something more in the game so that it's not so derivative from a generic kids board game.

  3. Nicholas,

Can you post the rules for your game?
